In the context of the Interreg IVB NWE Ecologistics project, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology organised on March the 25th, a workshop about the added value and the implementation of EPCIS. This is the eighth workshop organised by Ecologistics project in several countries in NWE.
The first goal of the workshop was to demonstrate the added value of EPCIS for companies and the way to implement it from an operational point of view through concrete feedbacks from companies and service providers experiences.
The second goal was to show the pedagogical tools developed in the Ecologistics project to help companies to raise their awareness about the possible usage and the added value of the EPCIS.
Those tools developed in collaboration with scientific organisations among others, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the University of Mons in Belgium have been designed to improve the knowledge transfer for learners from initial or vocational training cursus.
The workshop attracted 11 participants, mainly companies.
